THE WAR AND ME
BERLIN, 2019
Children’s rooms modeled on naturalistically from the time of the Second World War offer »walk-in audio theater« based on the TV series »Der Krieg und ich« [“The War and Me”]. A new multi-sensory format for teaching history: visitors can see, touch and use objects while they listen. Historic audio documents and film clips recreate the historic context. The multimedia exhibition project communicates a shared epoche of common European history to young visitors, fostering understanding and tolerance. The exhibition is housed in overseas containers and designed as a traveling exhibition.
